What Fusion does

Fusion is a concept-development demo. It combines one to four text-first inputs into an early product or creative-project brief and illustrative images. Kickstarter-category starter cards help explore formats such as cards, books, games, physical products and campaign-art directions.

A concept render is not a manufactured product, working prototype, proof of functionality, engineering validation, market test, or finished campaign asset. You must clearly distinguish actual product photos and demonstrated features from concept art in any campaign.

Quality review and AI limits

Mapper runs an automated, model-based review of generated briefs and image candidates before publishing new fusion images. Weak images may be regenerated once; candidates that remain below the quality threshold are withheld. The reviewer is fallible and cannot guarantee that every low-quality, unsafe, inaccurate, derivative, or misleading result is detected.

All outputs can be wrong, generic, derivative, or unsuitable. The review is not legal, safety, engineering, market, or Kickstarter approval. Review results yourself, substantiate claims, check rights and permissions, and make campaign AI disclosures where required.

Acceptable inputs and adult-only product-fusion policy

For the product-fusion workflow, do not enter requests to generate minors, sexual or explicit content, violent or hateful content, or a real person's name, likeness, endorsement, or impersonation. Those requests are screened and refused.

Product-reference uploads must not contain any people, including adults or children. Uploaded object images are sent to configured vision providers for safety screening and description; if the screening service is unavailable or uncertain, the mash is refused. Mapper does not store image bytes, but configured providers process them under their own retention terms.

You are responsible for having permission to use any image you upload. Do not upload sensitive information or an image you do not have the right to use.

Optional family comic keepsake

This feature is disabled by default and appears only on deployments that explicitly enable it. When available, it is limited to an explicitly permissioned, non-photoreal comic-ink illustration. A parent/legal guardian must attest to permission for every pictured child, and permission is required for every pictured adult. Requests to predict a future child or depict age progression are not supported.

Unclear apparent age, unsafe content, provider outage, or any uncertain safety or quality review blocks output. Automated classifiers may be mistaken; they are not age or identity verification. The portrait is a stylized AI illustration, not an exact likeness, identification, age prediction, or proof of family relationship.

The source photo is re-encoded in memory to remove metadata before configured third-party providers receive it for safety analysis and generation. The photo and returned image are not stored by Mapper, but provider processing and retention terms apply. Do not use the feature without all required permissions.

Fair use

The demo enforces per-visitor and daily caps to stay available. Do not bypass them, automate requests, or run load tests without prior permission. No bulk scraping, reselling access, or using the demo to consume provider quotas for a competing service.
